Questions

What is the difference between margin and markup?

Margin is profit ÷ price; markup is profit ÷ cost. A $10 cost sold for $20 is 50% margin but 100% markup.

Should fair prices differ from online prices?

Online marketplaces take fees, so the online price is usually higher. At a fair, spread your booth fee across the items you expect to sell and add any card reader fee.
